How do we pay for the services?

In return for the services provided by the management company, company members have to pay an equal proportion of the cost in order for them to be carried out. This charge is called Maintenance.

The maintenance charges are calculated and proportioned as provided for in Parts I and II of the Fifth Schedule to the Lease.

Payment is made direct to St. Paul's Court Management Company Ltd. and funds are held in the company bank account.

Maintenance charges as of 1st January 2016

New Charge Explanation of new monthly MC charge
£50 Pay the correct amount, direct to our bank on or before the 1st of the month. Property has UPVC windows installed
£60 Pay the correct amount, direct to our bank on or before the 1st of the month. £10 levy for properties without UPVC windows
£70 £10 admin if paying by cheque or cash
£10 levy for properties without UPVC windows
£80 £10 admin if paying by cheque or cash
£10 admin fee for late or incorrect payments
£10 levy for properties without UPVC windows

The directors of the Management Company hope that all leaseholders will pay by standing order on the 1st of every month.

The differential in charge for those without UPVC windows is to make a fund for all the extra repairs that are now needed due to rotting wooden window frames to both the frames and to the communal areas. Please change to UPVC windows as soon as possible.

Our accountants prefer the Standing Order to be identified by both the flat number and the name of leaseholder. This makes the money trail easier to identify.
